18 Monday 2nd week of Lent
The best way to discern if our prayer is authentic is to judge to what extent our life is being transformed in the light of mercy. (Gaudete et exsultate 105)
Luke 6:36-38
‘Be merciful just as your Father is merciful.’
The experience of our own wretchedness also strengthens us to be patient with others. Through our own weaknesses and faults we learn to understand the weaknesses and wretchedness of others and evaluate them correctly. That is how God guides everything to our good. (Everyday Sanctity – JK)
