Word for the Day

23 Saturday 2nd week of Lent

So often we say that God dwells in us, but it is better to say that we dwell in him, that he enables us to dwell in his light and love (Gaudete et exsultate .51),

Luke 15:1-3. 11-32
‘I tell you that in the same way there is more rejoicing  in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.’

We are swimming in an ocean of grace, which God offers us, and yet we are often dying of thirst, because we don’t scoop it up. We can do all things in him who strengthens us (cf. Phil 4,13). … At the same time God dwells in our soul, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit, indeed of the Blessed Trinity. We are living and moving temples of the Blessed Trinity!
