7 April 5th Sunday of Lent
Allow the Spirit to forge in you the personal mystery that can reflect Jesus Christ in today’s world (Gaudete et exsultate 23).
John 8:1-11
`Neither do I condemn you.’
In quiet hours, or even in only a few quiet minutes, let us consider: What do I really do all day? For example, I am happy that I am healthy and trace it back to God. I think of God and am happy that God is so good to me. … We have to savour God’s mercies in our lives. What does that mean? A mother is cooking a meal. She tastes it to make sure the soup is right. That is what I mean. … I savour God, because everything comes in some way from God. (19 May 1958 -JK)
